RITCHIE, (Dundrum, Dublin and late of Wesley College) 13 October 2024 Hugh James ROY, in his 96th year, at home. Very dearly loved husband and best friend of Cherie and wonderful father of Ruth, Heather (deceased), Judy and Claire, sons-in-law Brian, Robert and Emmett and sadly missed by his greatly loved grandchildren Sarah, Emma, Jenny, Andrew, Kate, Saoirse, James and Daniel. Predeceased by his brothers Rev Derek and Dr Edgar Ritchie. Will be greatly missed by the wider family circle and his many friends. Roy has donated his body to Medical Science at Trinity College Dublin. A service of thanksgiving for Roy’s life will be held in Dundrum Methodist Church, Ballinteer, Dublin 16 at 11 am on Saturday, 19 October 2024.
