GARDINER - Patrick Dermot (First Anniversary), (June 4, 2021) - Mary Anne, Declan, John, Paul and Michael, and extended families would like to thank all who sympathised with us on the passing of Dermot last year. Special thanks to all of those who cared for Dermot in his short illness. In particular we acknowledge the care of the doctors, nurses and carers of the Cara Ward at Saint Vincent’s Private Hospital; and the nurses and carers from the Blackrock Hospice and Irish Cancer Society who cared for him in his final days at home. We also thank the staff of the HSE who provided assistance which enabled Dermot to be at home. As ever, we thank the priests of Blackrock College for their support and the parish of Booterstown for the funeral mass. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he is missed more as time passes. Until we meet again, Rest in Peace.
