POWER, Mary Bridget

POWER James Francis (Jim) (First Anniversary, July 16th 2020) - lovingly remembered every day by his two sons Michael and Ray, his daughters-in-law and his five grandchildren. He rests alongside his beloved wife of sixty years, Mary, remaining inseparable having achieved their just rewards together in heaven. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the many people who travelled from the four corners of Ireland to show their respect, including neighbours and relatives of both Jim and Mary, as well as his great mates in U.C.D. Rugby Club and Castle Golf Club. A huge effort was made by so many to show their respect and love for Jim (and indeed once again for Mary who was recently deceased) through their presence and cards. A huge thank you to Fr. Danny for such a touching Funeral Mass celebrating Jim's life and to Simon and the legendary Paddy Cole for such beautiful accompanying music which added so much to the occasion - Jim truly loved beautiful music. Jim was a loving husband and a loving Dad and a real family man. His warm smile and great sense of friendship, loyalty and repartee endeared him to so many and he loved every second of it. We all miss Jim and we are so proud of our Dad who led a great and fulfilling life.
