Cherished son of the late Teresa and Mike McCarthy of Ballinasloe. Adored father of Eoghan, Corry, Connor, Kate, Ellen and Charlie. Dearest brother of Miriam, Michele, Michael, and Patrice. Loving nephew of Catherine McQuillan and Loretta Hughes. Remembered with great affection and warmth by all his extended family and a wide circle of friends in the Priority Group of Companies, the construction and civil engineering industry, CECA, Sandycove Swimming and Water Polo Club, NAC Masters Swimming Club, Leinster Open Sea Committee &amp; Competitors, his training buddies in Loughlinstown swimming pool and Chapter2Fitness. John's family are deeply appreciative of all the support, prayers and good wishes they received from all during the last two years.May he rest in peace.</p>
