GIBNEY (Dun Laoghaire, late of Bray and France) - May 3, 2015 (peacefully) at home. Aidan, beloved husband of Siobhán, loving father of John, Anne, Des, Colm and the late Kevin. Sadly missed by his wife, children and their partners, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, his extended family and many friends, especially Des Cullen. Reposing tomorrow, Wednesday in Quinn's of Glasthule from 5pm to 7pm. Removal Thursday to St. Michael's Church Dun Laoghaire, arriving at 9.50am for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Redford Cemetery, Greystones. No flowers please, donations if desired to Merchants Quay Ireland, Homeless & Drugs Services, P O Box 11958, Dublin 8. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilís

GIBNEY (France and Dún Laoghaire) Aidan (May 3, 2015) On this, the First Anniversary, his wife Siobhán, children John, Anne, Des and Colm and their extended families wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy, attended the funeral Mass and supported them in their loss of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A special thanks to his doctors and carers in his final illness and to the piper Gerry Hanlon who played at Aidan's own request. We hope this Acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation. Suaimhneas síoraí.
