McDOWELL, Denis (Ballsbridge, Dublin) - 29th October 2021, peacefully after a short illness in the excellent care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital; beloved husband of the late Catherine and loving father of John Paul, Jessica, Kate, Andrew and Dermot. He will be sadly missed by his family, daughters-in-law Thecla and Catriona, sons-in-law John and Paul, grandchildren Jack, Clara, Melissa and Stephen, Ciara, Lizzie and Beatrice, Anna, Max and Luke, Elsa and Leon, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and his wide circle of great friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Aungier Street for family and close friends (due to current government guidelines) today (Monday),1st November evening from 4-7pm. Funeral Mass will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) 2nd November, at 11.00 o’c in Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome.
