HASTINGS, Julia Kathleen (Sheila) (late of Booterstown, Co. Dublin) - Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Ashbury Nursing Home, Kill Lane, Blackrock, Co. Dublin. Pre-deceased by her sister Meta, brothers Jim and John. Deeply missed by her brother Pat and his wife Maureen, their daughter Jill, son Patrick and son-in-law John; also missed by families of brothers Jim and John: Sheila, Niall, Anne, Susan and Seamus and their families; by former friends and neighbours in Booterstown and her lifelong teaching colleagues and friends in City Quay. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10am in the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown Avenue followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery. The Mass can be viewed online using the following link: https://www.booterstownparish.ie/webcam/ . Please respect mask wearing and social distancing protocols at all times. HASTINGS - Sheila (Julie), (First Anniversary December 17, 2022) - Always remembered by Pat, Maureen, Patrick, Jill and John. Sadly missed by all her relatives, former colleagues and pupils of Townsend Street and City Quay schools, carers at Saint Mary's and Ashbury nursing homes, along with friends and neighbours in Booterstown. Thanks to everyone who offered their sympathy.
