SHINE, Doreen Elizabeth (née Blennerhassett) (Adare, Co. Limerick) - With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Doreen Elizabeth Shine (née Blennerhassett), on January 13th 2024 in her 98th year surrounded by her loving family in the care of University Hospital Limerick. Doreen, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, graced this world with her presence, love, enduring strength and generous spirit. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Harold Shine and wonderful mother to Jennifer, Sam, Dawn, Cecil and Valerie. Sadly missed by sons-in-law Dave, Maurice and Liam daughters-in-law Caroll, Orla and Sam’s partner Caroline, and her adoring grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. Reception at St. Nicholas Church Adare, Co. Limerick (V94 E622) today (Monday) 15th January at 7pm. Funeral Service will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) 16th January at 12 noon to celebrate her long wonderful rewarding life, followed by burial in the Old Cemetery Adare.
