CALLAGHAN, Geraldine Mary (Glasnevin) – September 24, 2022, (peacefully), in the care of the Intensive Care Unit at the Mater Hospital, surrounded by her family. Beloved daughter of Therese and the late Frank Callaghan, much loved sister of Nicola and Joan. She will be sadly missed by her brothers-in-law Dave and Pat, adoring nephews and nieces Mark, Matthew, Callaghan, Aoife, Patrick, Paige and Hollie, aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends and colleagues at AIB. Rest in Peace. A gathering of family and friends will take place at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand today (Tuesday) from 5.00 o’clock to 7.00 o’clock. Funeral cortège arriving at the Church of Our Lady of Dolours, Glasnevin for Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10.00 o’clock and thereafter to Glasnevin Crematorium Chapel for Committal at 12.00 noon. The Funeral Mass may be viewed on the Church Webcam and the Committal Service may be viewed on the Glasnevin Crematorium Webcam at 12.00 noon (approx.) Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, in memory of Geraldine and the tender care she received at the Mater Hospital may be made to the Mater Foundation.
