HAYES, Sister Sheila, (Society of the Sacred Heart, Cedar House, 35 Mount Anville Park, Dublin 14) February 17, 2019 (peacefully) in the loving care of the Cedar House Nursing Home; Deeply regretted by the Cedar House community, by the RSCJ in Ireland and Scotland, relations and many friends. Rest In Peace. Sheila will be reposing in Rom Massey Funeral Home , Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, from 3pm to 5pm today (Tuesday). Removal to Church of St Thérèse, Mount Merrion tomorrow (Wednesday) for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery.

Sr Sheila Hayes was one of our mum's best friend. We all have memories of mum talking about Sheila. They had a great respect for each other. Though their adult lives took very different paths.She will be sadly missed.The end of an era. RIP

Helga Carolan. Nee Corish. Originally of Mount Merrion. Shall always remember my Head Mistress as Mother Hayes. A wonderful nun. From a 1960 pupil of Mount Anville. May she RIP. So sad.
