COLLINS, Joan, (Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin, originally from Westport, Co. Mayo) - 26 March 2021, peacefully at Tara Care Centre, Bray. Beloved wife of John Dowling, mother of Siobhán and Aoife, grandmother to Ellie, Luke and Lelia, sister to Adrian (Gary) and sister-in-law to Eileen. Predeceased by sister Constance. A lover of music and travel, Joan’s work with the civil service took her to Paris, Geneva and Africa before she embarked on a successful career of many decades at RTÉ. She will be greatly missed by her many relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. In compliance with Covid restrictions a small funeral service, for family only, will take place on Tuesday afternoon (30 March) at 3.45 pm. It can be viewed here; https://vimeo.com/event/139693.
