SMURFIT - Caroline Anne (née Stopford), of Dalkey Parish, Dublin passed on in the early morning of January 31, 2022 in London. Caroline was a much treasured mother to Dermot and Victoria, beloved grandmother to Evie, Ridley, Flynn, Max, Blake and Darcey, sister to Peter and Rosemary. She joins her loving parents, Dorothy and Michael and brother Tom. Her overcoat may be gone, but her glittering spirit lives on in all of us.

So, sad to hear this news - I knew Caroline from my days based at Fairoaks Airport, Chobham. She was great friends with the late Gale Harvey of whom ran the bar at the Fairoaks Flight Centre. Caroline was always great fun to be around. My sincere condolences to all the family. RIP Caroline

Caroline sat beside me in school sixty years ago. I saw her maybe a dozen times since we went to secondary schools . I remember her black bicycle . Her smile. Her friendly calm. So sorry to hear of her passing . A wonderful lady . Condolences to her family . Robin Latham
