HACKETT, John, Ballsbridge, Dublin (formerly of Annavilla, Ranelagh, Dublin) - April 29, 2023 (peacefully) after a short illness in the wonderful care of St. Vincent’s Hospital and the Mater Hospital surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife Loretta and very recently by his sister Máire O’Mahony, Bantry. Dearly beloved uncle of Orla, Caitriona and Aoife. Sadly missed by nephews-in-law Jason and Michael, grandnephews Matthew and Andrew, extended family and a wide circle of friends including those in Hibernian Insurance and St Mary’s rugby club. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home 5 Newtown Park, Newtownpark Ave, Blackrock, Co. Dublin 5.00pm to 7.00pm tomorrow (Friday) Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 6th, at 10.00am in The Church of the Holy Name, Beechwood Avenue Upper, Ranelagh, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Cemetery & Crematorium, Harold's Cross. “My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest”
