MURRAY, Most Rev. Donal. Bishop Emeritus of Limerick. Peacefully, in the exceptional care of Milford Care Centre, Castletroy, Limerick, on 13th October 2024. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Maureen, sister Aileen and brother Paddy. Dearly loved and sadly missed by his sister Una, brothers Diarmuid and John, sisters-in-law Rosa, Ann and Connie, his nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, Bishop Brendan Leahy and the Clergy, Religious and Lay Faithful of the Diocese of Limerick and the Archdiocese of Dublin. Bishop Donal’s Remains will lay in Repose in St. John’s Cathedral, Limerick on Wednesday, 16th October, from 3pm with Evening Prayer at 7:30pm, pausing for Evening Mass at 5:45pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday, 17th October, at 12 noon, followed by Burial in Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Trócaire.
