FORBES, Canon J.F., (Ballinabarna House, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford) – August 5, 2018: it is with sadness that the family of John Francis Forbes, born 1929, mourn his passing, after two years of illness, bravely borne; predeceased by his parents Dean Alfred and Mrs. H.E. Forbes (née Davis), and parents-in-law Lt. Col Christopher Stephen and Mrs. M.K. Doyle and his brothers-in-law Rev. Brian Campion, the Rev. Eric Dungan (Canada), C.J. Doyle (Ballytory, Co. Wexford) and J.F. Yates (Wexford). Beloved husband of Marie-Louise, dear father of John Andrew, Stephen William, Kenneth Francis and Arthur Alfred. He is sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Penny, Georgina, Alison and Marta, his grandchildren Aisling, David, Anna, Miranda and Oscar, his sisters Ann, Margaret and Mary and wide circle of relatives and friends, and Bishop Michael Burrows and clergy and auxiliary ministers. Reposing at Browne’s Funeral Home, Enniscorthy today (Tuesday, August 7) from 4p.m. to 6p.m. Removal at 6p.m. to St. Edan’s Cathedral, Ferns. Funeral Service tomorrow (Wednesday, August 8) at 3p.m. with burial afterwards in Clone Cemetery. House private for three weeks. “I know that my Redeemer Liveth”
