O'BRIEN, Laura (née Shiels) (Shankill, Co. Dublin and formerly of Irishtown, Dublin 4) – November 1, 2017, peacefully at home, after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family, pre-deceased by her brother Noel; she will be deeply missed by her devoted husband and best friend Pat, son James, daughters Elaine and Louise, son-in-law Donal, daughter-in-law Tazi, sisters Irene and Pat, grandchildren Faye, Ross, Tess and Molly and by her extended family and friends. Reposing at her home today (Friday) from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Saturday) at 10.00am in St. Anne’s Church, Shankill followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society can be made at the church. May she rest in peace
