McGOVERN (Foxrock, Dublin) - May 3, 2014, peacefully in the loving care of his family and staff of Oakwood Nursing Home, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon; Fergus; former CEO of Telecom Éireann and Fellow of IMI; predeceased by his wife Angie (née Staunton); loving father of Kevin, Fergus, Dermot and Gerald. Sadly missed by his loving sons, sisters Carmel and Maura, his nine grandchildren, daughter-in-law Edel, brothers-in-law Dermot and Tony, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, colleagues, neighbours and friends. May he Rest In Peace. Fergus will repose at The Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen this (Monday) evening from 6pm until 7pm with prayer service at 7pm. Fergus will repose at Carnegies Funeral Home, The Crescent, Monkstown tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon from 2.30pm with removal at 4.30pm to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock arriving at 5pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday morning at 10am followed by interment in Shanganagh Cemetery.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
