GALLAGHER (Declan) (East Wall and Leixlip) (Died June 21, 2008) - On today, Declan's birthday, his wife Brenda, children Daniel, Barry and Claire would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on the sudden sad loss of a beloved husband and wonderful father. Our heartfelt thanks to all those who called to the house, attended the removal and funeral Mass and to all those who sent Mass Cards, letters of support and floral tributes. Thank you to the Mass celebrants Fr Michael Hurley, Fr Norbert Ngussa, Fr Felix Byrne, Fr John Byrne and Fr Tony Little. A very special thanks to all the wonderful musicians who played and sang at Declan's removal and funeral Mass. We wish also to express our thanks and appreciation to Fr Michael Herrity, Dr Johan De Bruijn, Eugene and Maura Greene and the Emergency Services who called to Loughanure on June 21. Thank you to all who attended Declan's Month's Mind Mass in Annagry, Co. Donegal, celebrant Fr Michael Herrity and again to all the wonderful musicians who sang and played at the Month's Mind Mass. A special thank you to our extended family, relatives, friends and neighbours, Declan's work colleagues in The Irish Times, past work colleagues, his many friends and also many traditional musician friends whom he met and played with over the years. We hope that you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our warmest appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
