DEMPSEY, (née Austin) Mary (Dalkey and formerly Monkstown Co. Dublin) - 24th February, 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the Sisters and staff of Our Lady’s Manor, Dalkey. Pre-deceased last May by her beloved husband Pat. Most dearly loved and loving Mum of Ivan, Erica, Odette, Noddy, Jane and Patrick; treasured mother-in-law of Katherine, Marc, Clodagh, John and Tim; beloved grandmother of Katy, Patrick, Jack, Lucy, Seán, Jessica, Mèlanie, Louis, Daniel (RIP) and Alexander; loving great-grandmother of Elisabeth, Ted, Annie, George and Bill; sadly mourned by her adored nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing tomorrow (Wednesday) evening from 5pm to 7pm at Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, Co. Dublin A94 XK28. Funeral Mass on Thursday (29th February) at 11.30am, in the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. Family flowers only, please. Mary's family express their sincere appreciation for your kindness and friendship.

Dublin (February 24, 2024) - As we lovingly remember our mother Mary on the first anniversary of her death, we her family express our sincere thanks to everyone who came to her reposal and funeral, watched online, sent sympathy cards, letters and messages; all her relatives and many friends. We are sincerely grateful to the carers who so kindly supported and cared for Mary while she lived at home. We thank her dedicated nurses, doctors, the Sisters and all the staff of Our Lady's Manor, Dalkey, for their care and kindness; Fr. Seán Collins CSsR., Finbarr Madden, Sacristan, and Dalkey Church Flower Group. In expressing our appreciation, we also remember Mum's beloved husband Pat, our dearly loved Dad, who died on May 20, 2023. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude.
