MURAKAMI Jimmy (Teru) (Dun Laoghaire and Los Angeles). As we approach Jimmy's First Anniversary (February 16, 2014) Ethna, Deirdre and Claire wish to thank everyone who helped us during Jimmy's illness and his untimely death. The love and support from our families and friends during those times and to date has comforted us enormously. Thank you everyone who was with us for our last goodbye to Jimmy, to Fr. Michael Coady, Tetsuo Hirohama, Brian Carnegie and Kevin Sheldrick for their contribution in making Jimmy's funeral services so special. Thank you to those who travelled long distances, to his many friends and our neighbours and everyone who sent Mass Cards, letters and cards of sympathy, phoned, sent texts, emails and flowers. A very special word of thank you to the wonderful staff in Cedar Ward of St. Vincent's Private Hospital who looked after Jimmy in his last days. We are indebted to so many people that it would be impossible to contact everyone individually-but from the bottom of our hearts we thank you most sincerely.

With deepest sympathy

My deepest sympathy on the passing of this fine gentleman. I had the pleasure of working with him many, many years ago. There are those that stick out in your memory as you pass through life, Jimmy was certainly one of theses people. My condolences to Ethna (close neighbour at one time in Monkstown) and children.
Waking in the air (snowman)
What a loss for the world , you will be missed so much by Ethna Dee , Claire and grandchildren and family members . But your grandchildren will grow up to know what a wonderful man you were and the amazing achievements you had ... Children gaze open mouthed, taken by surprise; Nobody had ever seen a snowman fly ... So many Christmasses after dinner stress of presents . Parents drinking Christmas dramas in households over the world . But then children sat down in front of fire the television was popped on and your animation took us on a dream ... All the nightmares and stress blocked out while a little boy flew . Children gazed and dreamt of flying .. You have given so much happiness and memories by your beautiful art . Thank you for believing dreams are real ... Xxx
