LYONS - (née Daubney) Caroline Jane, 72, of Cahergal, Clonbur, Co. Galway, formerly of Killiney,

Co. Dublin, passed away peacefully on 20th February surrounded by her family. She will be

dearly missed by her loving husband John, daughters Emily and Tara, son Philip, stepson David and his wife Breda, son-in-law Colm, daughter-in-law Suzanne, sister Dianne, brother-in-law Paul, niece Hazel, and nephew Edward. Precious âNanâ to her wonderful grandchildren Ferdia,

Harry, Dorothy, Lochlainn, Beau, Daisy, and Jack, whom she loved with all her heart. She was one of a kind and will be remembered by her many friends and family for the warmth and joy she brought to all those around her.

The family will be forever grateful to all the staff at The Galway Clinic for their compassion and for the exceptional standard of care that Caroline received.

Reposing at Burke's Funeral Home in Clonbur, Co. Galway on Sunday 23rd February from 4.30pm - 6pm, with the Funeral Mass to be held at midday on Monday 24th February in St. Patrick's Church, Clonbur. The funeral will then proceed to Shannon Crematorium, where a short service will be held at 4 pm. Family flowers only by request, with any donations to be made to Dogs & Cats of Antigua.
