QUILLINAN - Dr. Tom. (Salthill, Galway; formerly Templetuohy, Co. Tipperary, and Cork). July 13, 2020. On Tom’s First Anniversary, his wife Áine, his children, Niamh, Thomas, Cormac, Cliona, and Cillian, his Mother Pat, sisters Elaine, Denise, and Diane, and the extended family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to those who sympathised and supported us in our sad loss. We were overwhelmed by the vast amount of messages on RIP.ie, letters of sympathy, mass cards, cards, and floral tributes. We were truly moved by the personal stories and especially how many lives he touched during his career as a GP.
We greatly appreciate the expert care and attention given to Tom by the doctors, nurses and staff of UCHG, the Galway Clinic, his GPs, the Galway Hospice Homecare team, and Cancer Care West, for their empathic and exceptional care.
We also thank Canon Tadgh Quinn for the celebration of Tom’s life, and Frank Naughton who sang beautifully at his mass. We are grateful to our friends who travelled long distances to support us, although they were limited to standing outside the church, and to our kind neighbours who lined the road for Tom’s final journey.
The Holy Sacrifice of the mass has been offered for your intentions.
