Rowan, Bernadette

Rowan, (née Gunning) Bernadette (Bernie) Cypress Gardens, Athlone and late of Belfast. Passed away peacefully at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross on October 29, 2021. Predeceased by her beloved parents Henry and Bernie, and baby sister Una. Bernie will be greatly missed by her loving husband Paul; children Bernadette, Tom, Maria (Rowlis), Ciarán and Paula; siblings Marion (O'Sullivan), Joe, Harry and Noreen (McCreanor); daughter-in-law Meghan; son-in-law Bolivar; grandchildren Emelyn, Oisín, Dora, Hattie, Paula and Sol; in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends. Rest In Peace. Reposing at Flynn's Funeral Home, Athlone on Sunday, October 31 from 2p.m. until 4p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace, Coosan, Athlone on Monday, November 1 at 11a.m. followed by burial afterwards in Kilmashogue Cemetery, Rathfarnham, Dublin arriving approx. 2pm. Covid precautions will be taken and the family respectfully requests that current health guidelines be observed. No Flowers please, donations if desired to ACCORD or a charity of your choice.
