FLANAGAN Joseph (Joe) (Melrose, Massachusetts formerly Newbridge, Co. Kildare, and Newbridge College). Beloved husband of Sheila M. (James) Flanagan. Loving father of Sean P. Flanagan, Stephen T. Flanagan and Deirdre E. Flanagan, all of Melrose, MA. Devoted son of Thomas and the late May (Fleming) Flanagan. Caring brother of Mary Flanagan and Catherine Brophy and her husband Paul, all of Ireland. Brother-in-law of Mary K. Flaherty and her husband David of Chelmsford, MA, Ronald James and his wife Lynn of Utah, Eileen Armenia and her husband Francis of New York and Margaret Andre and her husband Rodney of Tyngsborough, MA. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose, MA on Sunday, September 13 from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Due to the current health crisis, the funeral Mass and burial will be private.
