FORDE OSB, Fr. Basil, (Garrett), (Glenstal Abbey), January 24, 2018, (peacefully) at Millbrae Lodge nursing home, Newport, Co. Tipperary; sadly missed by his children Caroline, Gerald, Garrett and Ciarán; his monastic brethren at Glenstal Abbey; his brother Jim, sisters Nuala and Patty; grandchildren Shannon, Kelsey, Luke, Ciarán, Róisín, Lara and Leah; and a wide circle of relatives and friends. Reposing in the Monastery from 3.30 pm until 5.00 pm today (Thursday), January 25, followed by removal to the Abbey Church. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Friday), January 26 at 11.30 am, followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery.
