Remembering George

Dear Mona. I hope this message reaches you as I'm sending it from the USA where we are visiting our daughter and her family. However we get to see The Irish Times on the computer and in that way read the sad news of George's death.

Stephanie joins me in sending you our heartfelt sympathy. We have the fondest memories of George in the times we shared with him in meetings and social events of the Stillorgan Branch of Fine Gael all those years ago. His dedication was legendary, and he kept us constantly entertained with anecdotes and stories once formal FG business was concluded.

We know that you and your family will miss him hugely, and we want you to know that you and the memory of George are in our thoughts at this sad time.

With renewed sympathies

Hubert and Stephanie (Mahony)
