DWYER, Rory (Late of Pinewood Drive, Glasnevin, formerly of Drimnagh, former centre-forward for Shelbourne F.C. in the 1950’s, retired Dublin Corporation and retired member of Erin’s Isle Pitch’n’Putt Club) - November 19th 2022. Passed peacefully in his 90th year after a long illness in the loving care of his family and the wonderful staff of Tara Ward, Saint Mary’s Hospital, Phoenix Park. Beloved husband of Mary, loving father of Fiona and Ciara and the late Little Rory and beloved brother of Eithne and the late Sean, Róisín and Nellie. Sadly missed by his wife, daughters, sister, grandchildren Telmo and Sive, sons-in-law Shay and Inigo, brother-in-law Phil, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, the Civic Centre, Ballymun Road, D09 C8P5, tomorrow (Tuesday) evening from 7pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning, November 23rd, at 11.30am at the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Road, followed by burial in the Old Balgriffin Cemetery, Carr’s Lane, Malahide Road, D17 RR71.
