van VLIET: Today we remember our beloved Nicolaas, husband, father and grandfather. Nick came from Rotterdam with his portfolio in 1965, started work immediately in advertising and brought his family over. He later joined the fledgling Wilson Hartnell Agency and progressed to Creative Director. In his own right, during this time, he was recognised as the best Dutch artist in the country - mounting many successful exhibitions. Following early retirement, he became a leading computer graphics specialist to the benefit of his many appreciative clients. Sadly, last year, he succumbed to cancer after a stoic battle. We, his family, are still heartbroken. May he Rest in Peace.
