OâCONNOR - Denis (Lurganboy, Manorhamilton, Co.Leitrim and also of Clonskeagh, Dublin, and formerly of Lisacul, Ballaghadereen, Co. Roscommon) (December 26, 2019). On Denis’ First Anniversary, his wife and family wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them at the time of their sad loss – our extended family, kind neighbours and friends including those from the vintage car clubs north and south. We would like to thank those who travelled long distances to attend the reposing in Oranmore, the funeral in Glencar and who sent mass cards, telephone messages and letters of condolence. We are extremely grateful for the kindness of those friends and neighbours who gathered along the route of Denis’ funeral cortege in Oranmore, Lisacul and Lurganboy. We would particularly like to thank our Cousin, Fr Tom O’Connor, who concelebrated Denis’ funeral Mass with Fr Denis Hartnett and Fr. Samuel Kure and all those who contributed to the Mass and celebration of Denis’ life. Our sincere thanks also to Canon Liam Devine, Loughglynn and Fr. Diarmuid Hogan, Oranmore. Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
