FERGUSON, Patrick, Milltown Lane, Ashford, Co. Wicklow, formerly of Altidore, Kilpedder, Co. Wicklow. Late of C Coy 21st Infantry Battalion, retired Company Commander with 41 years service, and late of the Construction Industry Federation. Peacefully following a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by loving family, in the compassionate care of St Vincent’s University Hospital, on Friday 2nd May 2025. Pre-deceased by his son Patrick, brother John and his parents James and Joan. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Winifred (née Lord), his daughters Fiona, Siobhan and Miriam, his beloved grandchildren Anna, Isobel and Patrick, his sisters Lena, Maureen and Joan, his brothers PJ, Seamus, and Joseph, son in law Cathal, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at McCrea's Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) this Friday evening from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Funeral Mass Saturday at 2.00pm in Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Ashford, at 2.00pm followed by interment in Glenealy cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Parkinson’s Ireland. Thank you to the staff Sugarloaf Nursing Home, Kilmacanoge for their care of Patrick in recent months.
