LOFTUS, Sr Pauline (Theresa), Convent of Mercy, Dún Laoghaire, November 10, 2020 in the kind care of the palliative team in the Blackrock Hospice. The Sisters of Mercy and her family gratefully appreciate the kind, considerate and professional care shown to Pauline during her illness by the staff of Catherine McAuley Nursing Home, Beaumont, the Blackrock Clinic and the Blackrock Hospice. Predeceased by her brother Dermot, she is sadly missed by her loving family: by her sisters Sr. Mary (Sister of Mercy) and Aine (Parkinson), her brothers Tomás and Pádraig (Fr. Mel, OSM), her sisters-in-law Joan and Nuala, brother-in-law Dan, nieces and nephews: Siobhán, Tom, Brendan, Oonagh, Eoin, Claire, Paul, Conor, Sinéad, Gráinne, Patricia and Daniel, grandnieces, grandnephews, her extended family and many friends around the world and by her sisters in the Mercy community. May she rest in peace. In keeping with current Government guidelines attendance at her requiem Mass today, Thursday, the 12th November at 11am in St. Joseph’s Church, Glasthule will not exceed 25 people but may be accessed using the following web cam link www.churchservices.tv/glasthule Burial will take place in the community plot in Newlands Cross Cemetery. Lala kahle, Dadewthu, Sizobonana kwelizayo (Zulu blessing) Sleep well, my Sister. We will see each other in the next country.
