BUCKLEY, Eddie (Dundrum, Dublin 16) May 24, 2023 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family in St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Dearly beloved husband of Margaret and loving father of Marie-Louise, Michelle, and Ed. Deeply regretted by his brother Jim, sister Margaret (Berkery), sons-in-law Brian and Joe and daughter-in-law Denise. Sadly missed by his much-loved grandchildren Harry, Michael, Ted, Isabelle, Charles, Sam, Penelope, Max, Sophie and Nancy, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, relatives and his many friends. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon from 3.00pm to 5.00pm. Removal on Monday morning to the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.00am followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent de Paul. May he Rest in peace
BUCKLEY - Eddie (May 24, 2023) - On this, Eddie’s first anniversary, Margaret, MarieLouise, Michelle and Ed together with his brother Jim and sister Margaret wish to express our sincerest gratitude to all who attended the reposal and funeral Mass, particularly those who travelled long distances to be with us. Our thanks also to those who sent letters, cards and posted condolences on RIP.ie. Thank you to our relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues who have supported us throughout the year. A special thank you to Fr. Jim Caffrey for a beautiful Mass for Eddie. Thanks also to the soloist, organist and the Balally Parish team. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
