BATESON, Kenneth (Ken) (Foxrock, Co. Dublin) - September 24, 2022. Peacefully, in the kind care of the staff at St. John’s House Nursing Home, Merrion Road. Dearly beloved husband of the late Laura and loving father to the late Kenneth. Beloved uncle to Derek Bateson and his wife Mary, their children Samantha and Alex (U.S.A.); Elaine Adams, her husband Dave, their children Kenneth and Lesley, her husband Steve and their children Ava Willow, Kayla, Bonnie and Piper and father-in-law to Robert Bateson (U.K.). Ken was a wonderful caring person and will be missed by his neighbours and a wide circle of friends, especially those in the Stedfast Band which he co-founded, CHA Walking Club and the Kill Bowling Club. Ken will be reposing tomorrow (Tuesday 27th September) from 2pm to 4pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, A94XK28. A Service of Thanksgiving and a Celebration of Ken’s Life will take place at 4pm on Wednesday 28th September in Kill-o-the Grange Parish Church (C.of.I), Deans Grange. Preceded by a private cremation. For those that cannot attend, the Service can be viewed using this link: (TBC later). Family flowers only, please.
