LOUTH, Edmund, (Highfield, Arklow, Co Wicklow), July 30, 2020, peacefully after a long illness borne with great courage and humour, in the exceptional care of Prof. Ray McDermott and Dr. Sarah McLean and their teams at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Adored husband of Renee Duggan and much loved brother of Cathal, Ellen, Seán, Mamie, Pauline and the late Anne. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, mother-in-law Frances Duggan, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, his Tipperary cousins, his relatives, colleagues, neighbours and many friends. Rest in Peace. In accordance with current government guidelines, Edmund’s funeral will take place in private. If you wish you can join in the celebration of his funeral Mass at 10 o'clock this (Monday) morning via livestream at www.johnsweeneyandsons.ie/our-webcam/. LOUTH - Edmund (Second Anniversary, July 30) - Lovingly remembered and greatly missed today and every day by Renee and the Louth and Duggan families. Also remembering Edmund's Father John T. Louth on his Thirty-third anniversary on August 5.

LOUTH - Edmund, (Highfield, Arklow, Co Wicklow). On the First Anniversary of Edmund's death, July 30, 2020, his wife Renee (Duggan), brothers, Cathal and Sean, sisters, Ellen, Mamie and Pauline and all of his extended family wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all those who supported and sympathised with us at the time of Edmund's death. To all who attended Edmund's funeral and, equally to those who could not due to restrictions be present but kept us in your thoughts and prayers, to those who sent Mass cards, letters, text messages, flowers and online messages of condolence, we thank you most sincerely. To our own extended families, neighbours, colleagues and to Edmund's many colleagues and friends from the legal community and beyond, we thank you for taking the time to share wonderful thoughts and memories of Edmund. Very special thanks to Dr. Tony Bentley and to Prof. Ray McDermott and Dr. Sarah McLean and their teams at St. Vincent's Private Hospital for their exceptional care throughout Edmund's illness. Many thanks to Fr. Brian McKittrick and all those who helped celebrate Edmund's beautiful funeral Mass. Special thanks to Niamh of John Sweeney Funeral Directors for her professionalism and care. To the generations of players and former teammates from Arklow Rugby Club and to Edmunds friends from his charity building trips who turned out to honour his final journey, words cannot express our gratitude. We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
