LINDEN, Liam, The Oak, O'Moores Forest, Mountmellick, Co. Laois. Died December 1, 2018 - Liam's wife Dolores, son Barry and daughter GrĂ¡inne, along with our families would like to express our sincere thanks to the relatives, friends and neighbours who offered sympathy and support during our recent sad loss. Thank you to everyone who sent Mass bouquets and visited Liam during his illness, to all who attended Liam's funeral and those who sent Mass cards and messages of condolence. Thank you also to those who made a donation in Liam's memory to the Irish Cancer Society. To the staff of St. James' Hospital and Portlaoise General Hospital for their care and kindness to Liam and also to the Daffodil Nurses who cared for him during his last week at home. Sincere thank you to Nurse Phyllis Howlin for all her help during a very difficult time. Special thank you to Ballyfin GAA for arranging a Guard of Honour and piper Ned Dunne, and for carrying Liam from the church to his final resting place. Also thank you to Donncha Phelan for the graveside eulogy. Thank you to 4 Aces Wholesale, Mountrath Golf Club and Rosenallis AFC for providing a Guard of Honour. Thank you to all who participated in Liam's Mass. Heartfelt thanks to Fr. John O'Brien for celebrating the Mass, and for his thoughtful words which meant so much to us. To James O'Connor for his beautiful rendition of Liam's favourite songs in the Church and for generously donating his fee to the Irish Cancer Society. Thank you to the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise for their hospitality after the funeral and to the Deadmans Inn, Ballyfin for their kindness and support during a very sad time. Finally, thank you to funeral director John Moloney and staff for their kindness and professional handling of arrangements. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
