SMYTH, Desmond Joseph (Greenore Court, Dublin 2, formerly of Jordanstown, Tara, Co. Meath), December 15, 2017, (peacefully) surrounded by his family at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Maura and loving father of Jennifer and Desmond; deeply missed by his sister Angela, son-in-law Sean and daughter-in-law Elaine, grandchildren Adam, Louis and Eliza, niece Hillary and nephew Edmund, Margaret, wife of his late brother Alfred, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and his many friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing today (Tuesday) from 2pm to 5:30pm in Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Main Street, Dundrum. Funeral Service in the Chapel of Mount Jerome Crematorium tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11.30am followed by burial in St Patrick's Cemetery, on the Hill of Slane, Co. Meath.
