BUTTERLY (née Carbery) Patricia (Trish) - On the occasion of Trish's First Anniversary, July 15, her husband John, her children Sheila, David and Alan and her seven grandchildren, together with her siblings, extend their sincere thanks to the many hundreds who attended Fanagans Funeral Home to pay their respects. Their gratitude also extends to those who packed The Good Shepherd Church, led by Fr. Brian Edwards for her funeral Mass, and, also to the large gathering at Geraldine Cemetery, Athy who joined Fr. Adrian Carbery in saying a final farewell. Trish battled her illness very bravely for over three years remaining very active until the day before she passed away. Our thanks is extended to the talented team at St. Vincents Private Hospital led by Dr. David Fennelly, and also to the Palliative Home Care Unit from Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross for their expert care. Trish also received a continuous outpouring of gentle help, and support from her special friends including Sull, Shan, Jacqui, Maire O'D, Miriam, Yvonne, Anne B and Jean F. Her extended family also provided unique back up and care. This was evident from the number of people who joined by webcam for her funeral Mass from New Zealand, Australia, Canada, The U.S.A., France and the U.K. Thank you also to those who travelled from some of those countries for her funeral. A special word of thanks goes to Trish's cousin Brian Tobin, guardian of the historic Geraldine Cemetery, Athy, for his dignified and quiet work with the arrangements there. Finally, a thank you for the huge support from friends and neighbours in Churchtown, and, also to Trish's Tennis Club, Bridge Club and her Book Club friends, and to her business colleagues. Please accept this notice as an expression of thanks and appreciation. Because there was such an outpouring of sympathy and so many people attending the various events, it would be impossible to thank everyone individually.Forever missed by her
family and friends.
Trish is always in our hearts.
