MEMORIES OF PETER

I CAN'T REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I SAW PETER, BUT IT COULD BE OVER 25 YEARS AGO. SOMETIMES, I WAS REMINDED OF HIM BY SOMETHING SOMEONE SAID OR WHEN I WAS UP NORTH, OR JUST SOMETHING RANDOM.

WE HAD MANY A DISCUSSION AND A LAUGH IN BELFIELD CANTEEN AND ELSEWHERE, AND I HAVE FOND MEMORIES OF THAT TIME.

SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO ALL HIS FAMILY AND THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN WITH HIM THROUGHOUT THE YEARS AND LOVE AND MISS HIM DEARLY.

MAJELLA KILLALEA-MOORE

My best friend

I still can't quite believe that Peter is no longer with us - the call from Paul was a complete shock.

Although Peter and I didn't see much of each other over the last few years, despite numerous attempts to meet up, I have always considered him to be my best friend.

We grew up together and were close from the age of about 13. There was nothing I couldn't tell Peter and I shall miss knowing that he is there.

I am sorry not to have been able to attend the funeral, which I gather has now passed, but Peter, Paul, Mary and his mother have been in my thoughts all week. My condolences to all his family and friends.

Peter I miss you.

Great memories of Peter

So sorry to hear about Peter's death. He was far too young to die. I have many great memories of debates on politics and much else with him in UCD and in the pub in Rathfarnham or Churchtown over the years, and of seeing him in San Francisco too. My condolences to Paul, his mum and sister. RIP. Conor
