PRENDERGAST, Paddy of Ballinorig, Tralee and formerly Ballintubber, Co. Mayo, peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family on 25th September 2021, beloved husband of Irene and dearest father of Petra, Siobhán and Mark, Brother of the late Tommy, Philip, Murt, Ray, Dell and Sal. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Will, Callum, Patrick and Helena, sons-in-law William and Andy, daughter-in-law Dayna and his dear sisters Carmel and Barbara, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at his residence in Ballinorig, Tralee on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm for family and close friends. Funeral arriving to St. John’s Church, Tralee on Wednesday morning at 11.30 am where the Requiem Mass for Paddy will be celebrated at 12 noon (streamed on www.stjohns.ie). Followed by Private Cremation. Rest in Peace. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to The Palliative Care Unit, U.H.K., or care of the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee. House private, please. We will further celebrate Paddy’s life in Ballintubber Abbey and on the shores of Lough Carra in Summer 2022.
PRENDERGAST - Paddy (Tralee, Co Kerry and Ballintubber, Co Mayo) on the eve of his First Anniversary Irene, Petra, Siobhan, Mark and their families wish to thank our dear family, friends and neighbours for their love, kindness and support over the last year. Thank you to those who travelled to be with us around the time of his funeral and those who sent many messages of sympathy, you gave us so much comfort in our sad time. We wish to thank the palliative care team who looked after Paddy with such care in his final weeks. To his wonderful friends in Ballintubber who gave us the most beautiful and special day on Lough Carra in July, we are forever thankful. It was a most fitting celebration of a life very well lived. You are all in our thoughts, many thanks again.
