JONES, Joan (née Guiney) 17th May 2024. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bert and her sisters Anne and Pauline. Forever loved and missed by her daughters Dorothy and Lesley, sons-in-law Pat and Craig, her treasured grandchildren Anne, Colin, Jake, Brooke and Adam, her sisters Norrie, Margaret, and Phyllis, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. May her soul Rest in Peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook Rathfarnham D14 WO29 on (Tuesday) evening (May 21st) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (May 22nd) to the Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock for Funeral Mass at 11.00am, followed by burial at St Brigid’s Cemetery, Castleknock.
JONES - (nee Guiney) Joan, predeceased by her beloved husband Bert, Castleknock. On this Joan's First Anniversary (May 17, 2024), her daughters Dorothy and Lesley, grandchildren Anne, Colin, Jake, Brooke and Adam, sons-in-law, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family, wish to convey our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our great loss. We are very grateful to those who travelled long distances to attended her Removal and Requiem Mass, to those who sent flowers, Mass cards, letters of condolence and messages on RIP.ie, at the time of her death. We also thank the doctors, nurses and carers in the Mater Private and Connolly Hospitals who looked after Joan so well. We especially thank the wonderful carers from Irish Homecare who were so kind to Joan over her last 2 years. We thank Fr. Damien and Fr. Dennis for their kindness to us, Fanagans Funeral Directors for their guidance after Joan's death. To express our gratitude, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Â
