MAHON (née Farren) Catherine (Kay) (Swords Road, Malahide), December 31st, 1936 - June 2nd, 2018, Kay's family; her sons and daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren, would like to thank all who sympathised with them during and since the period of her death in June of last year. We thank you for your kindness and support; for your attendance at her funeral, for cards, calls and kind words. We especially mention her siblings, Eithne, Brendan and Des, her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Joan, Beatrice, Mai and Johnny, and her dear friends, Anne and Laoise. We remember with love our dad Tom, and others who went before her, especially her siblings Seamus and Sean, Máire and Eileen; dad's siblings Chris, Nancy, Nicky and Paddy Mahon, and her great friend Nan Bannon. We thank Dr. Veronica Murphy, Mary Collen and Tony McKenna who helped Kay to enjoy and remain in her beloved home, Hawthorn. We thank Prof. Oscar Breathnach and his oncology team at the Bon Secours Hospital in Glasnevin for their professionalism, kindness and respect. We thank all staff at the Bons who over the past 10 years greeted Kay warmly at every visit and worked hard to keep her well. We especially thank Prof. Richard Costello and Maureen. We are very grateful to Rocks Funeral Home in Swords who steered us through mom's last outing, with great kindness and a smile. Special thanks to Anthony (Anto). And we thank Fr. Martin of the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seabury, for his time and kindness, and a wonderful spiritual goodbye. And finally thanks to Kay herself, our mother, who gifted us with positivity, resilience and good humour to the end.Rest in Peace.
