MULDOWNEY (née Kelly) Kate (Rye, New York and Rosslare Strand) - September 30, 2015, (peacefully), in the company of her loving family at St. Vincent's Private Hospital, beloved wife of Peter, loving mother of Peter and Elizabeth and daughter of Breda and the late Billy and sister of the late Liz; she will be sadly missed by her husband, son, daughter, mother, sisters Mary, Anne and Vonny, brothers Bill and John Paul, parents-in-law Frank and Peggy, brothers-in-law William and James, sisters-in-law Maeve, Margaret, Hilary, Kathy and Fleur, extended family and her wide circle of friends. Removal tomorrow (Friday) morning to Church of The Sacred Heart, Donnybrook arriving for 11.30 o'c Funeral Mass followed by private family cremation at Mount Jerome. Family flowers only please. Memorial Masses will take place, at a later date in Rye, New York and also in Rosslare, Co. Wexford.

MULDOWNEY (née Kelly) Kate (Rye, NY and Dublin and Rosslare) September 30, 2015 - Peter, Peter and Elizabeth, along with the Kelly and Muldowney families, would like to thank most sincerely all our dear friends who called to the house, attended the funeral, sent cards and letters and flowers, and who have reached out to us in the year following our indescribable loss. Particular thanks go to Kate's wonderful army of friends in Rye, who cooked and drove and entertained her throughout her illness. Kate had a great gift for friendship and we are extremely grateful to all the friends who travelled long distances to be near her and help her in her hours of need. Our sincere thanks go to the staff of St. Vincent's Hospital and particularly to Dr. David Fennelly, whose counsel and care cannot be overstated. We are very thankful also to Fr. James Murphy in Rosslare and Fr. Lorcan O'Brien in Donnybrook for their support. We are eternally grateful to you all.
