WARD Sean (Dublin, Cork and USA) - On the First Anniversary of Sean's death, his wife Agnes and all the family wish to acknowledge the sympathy and practical support extended to us in our deep grief. Family, friends and former colleagues from near and far made the special journey to attend the wake and funeral. The many Mass cards and letters of condolences received are individually acknowledged. Sean was blessed to receive unmatched medical care at the hands of his GP Dr. Conor Murphy, the nurses and staff at the Beacon Hospital and his consultants Prof. George Mellotte, Dr. Dermot McCaffrey, Mr. Hubert Gallagher and Dr. Deirdre O'Riordan. Thanks to Fr. Bill Jones who administered the comforting last rites to Sean before death and to Foxrock Parish Church for hosting celebrant Fr. Pat Sheary who read the funeral Mass. Dermot Laide and Massey Bros. Funeral Directors, Blackrock paid detailed and careful attention to all matters on our behalf. In keeping with Sean's wishes, his ashes will repose in the tranquil St. Aidan's Cemetery in Kinlough, North Leitrim. This is his wife's home parish where he enjoyed peaceful visits for many years. Mass is offered for the intentions of all.
