NICHOLAS, Gerard, (Knockard, North Circular Road, Limerick. Formerly of 16 Rennie Court, Stamford Street, London SE1 9LP. September 9, 2023, peacefully in University Hospital Limerick surrounded by family. Son of the late Patrick and Mary (nee Corboy) Nicholas, brother to Anne (deceased), Stephen, Jean (Geraghty), Raymond, Audrey, Mark and Mary Pat. Survived by his daughter Suzy, son-in-law Juan and grandson Elio. Also regretted by his uncle, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and a host of dear and valued friends and colleagues in Ireland, the United Kingdom and elsewhere. A memorial service will also be held in London later in the year for his London friends and colleagues. Requiescat in pace Reposing at Knockard, North Circular Road, Limerick V94 W8CE from 4.30 to 7.30 pm today Wednesday (September 13). Funeral arriving at St John’s Cathedral, Limerick for Requiem Mass at 11am tomorrow Thursday (September 14) followed by private cremation in Shannon, Co. Clare on Friday (September 15) with interment of the ashes on a later date. Family flowers only please.
