O'REILLY Joan (Templeogue, Dublin 6w, holder of 34 international caps of the Irish Women's Hockey Team, including the Triple Crown team of 1950, former international umpire, former lady captain of the Grange Golf Club and former board member of the Royal Hospital. Donnybrook) - January 10, 2014. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of the Belmont House Nursing Home, Stillorgan Road. Beloved sister of the late Carmel, William, James, Tom and Angela. Sadly missed by her nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, 1-3 Dolphin's Barn, SCR on Monday (January 13) from 9.30 o'c to 5.30 o'clock Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning (January 14) at 11 o'c in Terenure College Chapel, Terenure, followed by interment in Bohernabreena Cemetery. "May she rest in peace"
O'REILLY Joan RIP. January 10, 2014 - On this the occasion of the First Anniversary of Joan' passing, her family would like to thank those who attended her funeral and expressed their condolences. To Father Michael Troy, Prior of Terenure Collage who said the Mass, we offer our thanks. As an international hockey player and umpire Joan had admirers and friends, many of whom expressed their sympathies. We thank them. To Grange Golf Club where Joan was a former lady captain, a special word of appreciation to her friends of many years with whom so much was shared. In particular, her wonderful friend Gladis Ruddock for her eulogy at Joan's Mass. We are very grateful to Paddy and Joan O'Neil for the kindness shown to Joan over so many years. To the staff of Belmont Nursing home we offer our gratitude for her care. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all.
