I met Maeve at conference for young journalists at the EU Parliament. I was her group facilitator. She was a spitfire who reminded me of a friend back home. I thought of Maeve today. Can't believe she's gone. My sympathies. Joyce Taylor

Louise Etchingham Maeve was a work friend of mine in 2012 but we kept in touch after we left that job and occasionally met for lunch or drinks. Apologies, I only found out she passed away this morning. I'm very sad to hear it.
