CLARKE (née McDonagh), Carmel, (Baybush, Straffan and late of Celbridge, Co. Kildare) - June 28, 2016, (peacefully), surrounded by her adoring family, at the Mater Hospital, darling wife of Aidan, wonderful mother of Tracy, Colin and Bryan, mother-in-law of Sinead and Suzanne, adored nana of Jack, Ella, Ben and Ava, dear sister of Tony, Anne and Pascal, sadly missed by all her extended family and friends. Rest In Peace. Reposing at Reillys Funeral Home, Leinster Street, Maynooth today (Wednesday) from 6 o'clock with prayers at 8 o'clock. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) at 9.15 o'clock to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Straffan for 10 o'clock funeral Mass, followed by burial in Straffan Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Renal Department Mater Foundation.

Aidan, Tracy, Colin and Suzanne, Bryan and Sinead and her sister Anne, brothers Tony and Paschal, her treasured grandchildren Jack, Ella, Ben and Ava, would like to acknowledge the great support and kindness shown to them. Thanks to all who attended her reposing and Funeral Mass, sent Mass Cards, sympathy cards and letters and who made generous donations. We would like to thank all who cared for Carmel in the Mater Hospital, in particular her consultant Dr. Denise Sadlier. We thank all the members of Knockanally Golf Club for their guard-of-honour and the members of North Kildare and Maynooth Bridge Clubs. To Fr. Douglas for his support, thank you. As it would be impossible for us to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a sign of our sincerest gratitude and appreciation.
