CUDDY - Michael, (late of Howth, Dublin) On July 10, 2021, the First Anniversary of Michael’s death, his wife Helen, daughter Sarah and sons John and Michael together with their families and the extended Cuddy and Buckley families would like to express their thanks to all those who supported and sympathised with them in their bereavement. We thank all those who sent letters, Mass cards, cards, flowers and messages on rip.ie. Our sincere thanks to Fr. Liam Lacey, who celebrated Michael’s funeral Mass for his guidance and warmth, together with the team at St. Fintan’s church, the beautiful singing of Simon Morgan accompanied by Vincent Lynch, a celebration of a life fully and well lived. A special thanks to Fr. Paschal Scallon, C.M. for remembering Michael in Castleknock College Mass of Remembrance. We extend our gratitude to those who cared for Michael, attending to his health and well being. A big thank you to Michael’s friends and for the many friendships enjoyed by Michael through his involvement in rugby, golf, national hunt racing and his more recent friendships through school’s rugby in 2005 and college rowing. A special thank you to the rugby community for their presence and support, Michael’s Bective Rangers FC who provided a guard of honour which was poignantly moving, the IRFU, the Leinster Branch, members of the 1982 and 1985 Triple Crown teams, representatives of Portmarnock Golf Club and Stephens Green Club, all gestures are deeply appreciated. Our grateful appreciation to Jodie Fanagan and his team at Fanagans Funeral Directors for their kindness and guidance. We trust that this Acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our profound gratitude.
