FLAHERTY, Carmel (M. O’Flatharta, Nuachtánaí, Lower Dominick Street, Galway) May 30, 2019 (suddenly); dearly beloved daughter of the late Michael and Bridie, much loved sister of Jimmy, Maura O’Farrell, Micheál, Ailish Shannon, Deirdre Murray, Hilda Fitzgerald, Christy (R.I.P.) and Stanley (R.I.P.), niece of Teresa Fahy, cherished god mother of Michelle (R.I.P.). Sadly missed by her loving brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law Eddie and Dan, sister-in-law Mona, devoted nieces and nephews, god-children, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, the Cathedral community, extended family, and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway today (Friday) from 5 p.m. with Removal at 7 p.m. to Galway Cathedral. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Saturday) at 1.30 p.m. Funeral after Mass to St. James’ Cemetery, Bushypark. May Carmel be re-united with her adored parents, may her loyalty to family which bound us all together be her legacy, may her kind and generous soul rest in peace
