DRENNAN - MARTIN (BISHOP EMERITUS) - On this the First Anniversary of Martin's death, we his family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Bishop Michael Duignan, Bishop Emeritus Brendan Kelly, his fellow Bishops, Priests, Religious, Parishioners and his many friends for their kindness. A special word of thanks to Fr Martin Whelan for his advice and guidance. To Sr. Goretti Bohan, Bridie Carr and Sr Helen O'Brien for their support and kindness to Martin. To the people of the Diocese of Galway who organised and participated in the Vigil and Funeral, the Cathedral Choir for the music and singing which so enhanced the ceremony, to those who sent Mass cards, letters of condolence and travelled long distances to be with us - thank you. To the Medical and Nursing staff who cared for Martin - our thanks.
Finally, to Rob Conneely and his team for their professionalism and kindness to us as a family both in Dublin and Galway. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
Anniversary Mass - Sunday November 26th 2023 12.30pm
Cathedral of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven and St. Nicholas, Galway.
